AU-Startups Council Terms

By expressing interest and participating in the AU-Startups Advisor Council membership process, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

To be considered for the AU-Startups Advisor Council, you must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the nomination guidelines.

2. Commitment

If selected as an AU-Startups Advisor Council member, you commit to actively participating in the Council's initiatives, including attending meetings, providing strategic insights, engaging with startups, and contributing to thought leadership discussions.

3. Voluntary Basis

Participation in the AU-Startups Advisor Council is on a voluntary basis. Council members are not financially compensated for their contributions.

As part of the Council, you may gain access to sensitive information related to AU-Startups' activities, startups' plans, and strategies. By becoming a member, you agree to maintain the confidentiality of such information and not share it with unauthorized parties.

Council members may be requested to engage with startups, provide mentorship, and contribute to their growth journey through insights and recommendations.

Advisor Council membership terms are initially for a period of one year. After the initial term, members may be invited to renew their membership for subsequent terms based on performance and commitment.

AU-Startups reserves the right to terminate an Advisor Council membership if a member does not fulfill the commitment requirements, violates confidentiality, or engages in conduct that is detrimental to the Council's objectives.

8. Intellectual Property

Any contributions, ideas, insights, or recommendations provided by Council members during their engagement will be considered voluntary contributions and will become the property of AU-Startups.

9. Indemnification

Council members indemnify and hold AU-Startups harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from their participation in the Council.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
