There weren’t many activities on the African funding scene last week as only four startups secured funds during the period. BasiGo, Sprints, and Zeepay each secured $3m while South African Right Now Response raised $634,000 from HAVAIC.

What Next?: The newly secured funding will go towards accelerating the scale-up of BasiGo’s manufacturing and delivery of electric buses in Kenya and Rwanda.
