Startup of the Month: Termii

Termii is a communication platform-as-a-service startup that specializes in providing businesses with messaging channels for verifying and authenticating customer transactions.

Termii co-founders: Emmanuel, Atinuke, and Ayomide (L-R)

Founded in 2017 by Emmanuel Gbolade, Atinuke Idowu, and Ayomide Awe, Termii initially started as a messaging product that enabled businesses to communicate with users across various platforms. However, the company has since expanded its product suite to become a comprehensive solution that powers interactions between businesses and their customers.

Termii’s offerings are designed to enhance customer loyalty, prevent fraud, and improve communication efficiency. The platform seamlessly integrates customer connections and verifications across multiple channels, including voice, email, SMS, and WhatsApp, enabling personalized interactions and facilitating trusted global communications.

With a commitment to reliability, Termii ensures a 99% message delivery rate and provides enhanced delivery for one-time passwords (OTPs) and notifications. The platform also offers quick integration through robust APIs, supporting SMS, WhatsApp messaging, voice, video, and email capabilities.

The Termii team

To further streamline communication, Termii includes features that detect the status and network validity of customer contacts, ensuring messages are delivered to the appropriate networks. Additionally, the platform provides detailed cross-channel reports for both incoming and outgoing customer messages, allowing businesses to access analytics and gain valuable insights into their communication strategies. These reports can be generated through APIs or exported to Excel sheets for further analysis.

Termii recently raised $3.65 million in an investment round led by Ventures Platform, to help support its ongoing expansion initiatives across Africa.
