Chat for Women’s Livelihoods Accelerator 2024

Applications are now open to  startups creating women empowerment solutions in Africa to participate in the Chat for Women’s Livelihoods Accelerator 2024. This program is an 18-month capacity development initiative during which participants will receive training, mentorship and other necessary support to scale their solutions.

The accelerator primarily aims to support organizations with solutions that improve business skills, access to digital markets, education and tools as well as healthcare support for women entrepreneurs in Africa.

Benefits: Participating businesses will receive support in prototyping and launching their solutions as well as extensive training and Mentorship with access to world-class Technology.

CcHub/Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship Program 2024 (Cohort 2)

CChub and Mastercard are welcoming applications to the 2nd cohort of their Edtech fellowship program. The accelerator focuses on ed-tech startups that are developing tools that improve learning outcomes and access to quality education in Africa.

To be eligible, interested startups should be Africa-focused and incorporated in Nigeria. Also, their Edtech solutions must have verifiable users and should incorporate inclusive teams

Participating startups will get the opportunity to collaborate with a network of professionals and industry leaders. The goal of the program is to drive innovation in African Edtech

Benefits: Equity-free funding of up to $100,000, access to a team of expert advisors, extensive network of investors.

Just IMAGINE if… Research Grant 2024 For Budding Entrepreneurs

Applications are open for budding entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to participate in the Just IMAGINE If… challenge and win an enterprise research grant of up to £100,000. The program seeks to support the development of potentially system changing ideas by exposing the visionaries to the right resources and environment to let their ideas thrive.

The opportunity is open to budding entrepreneurs aged 18 and over with brilliant and profitable venture ideas or solutions. To participate, interested candidates must submit an application that outlines the idea and demonstrates a sustainable business model.

Benefits: Grant prize of £100,000 , connection to world-leading researchers, business leaders and resources to help participants develop their ideas.

THRIVE Academy IV for Agri-food Tech Startups 2024

The THRIVE Academy Program is a 12-week enterprise development initiative for idea stage entrepreneurs, early-stage startups and researchers looking to commercialize their innovation  in Africa. The program is aimed at preparing participating companies for growth and scalability. 

The THRIVE Academy program places a strong emphasis on innovative companies that are creating sustainable solutions in the agrifood value chain.  The first 6 weeks of the program will feature intensive capacity development training modules while the following six weeks will place more emphasis on Mentorship

Benefits: Participants will gain access to corporate partners, investment opportunities, expert mentorship, brand exposure, and collaboration opportunities
