HICOOL 2023 Global Entrepreneurship Competition for African Startups

HICOOL Global Entrepreneur Summit and Entrepreneurship Competition aims to build a multi-level, multi-dimensional, and diversified international entrepreneurial model, seeking high-quality startups worldwide, and facilitating entrepreneurs to grow and expand their businesses in Beijing.

Africa Blockchain Incubation Program 2023

The Africa Blockchain Incubation Program 2023 is a four-month intensive program designed to help participants develop and launch their blockchain projects. Selected participants will receive training, mentorship, and resources to help bring their ideas to fruition.

Benefits: Training sessions on blockchain technology and business/entrepreneurship, business guidance and investor access, business and platform support, regular check-ins and progress reviews with program mentors.

AEDIB|NET Africa – Europe Partnership Programme for European and African Startups

This programme is the first step of a broader approach to the African–European collaboration on digitalisation and innovation. The project was launched under the broader political initiative AEDIB. Initiated by EU Member States (France, Belgium, and Germany) and the European Commission to the EC’s Digital 4 Development process (D4D).

Benefits: Virtual partnership programme with sessions focused on business development, startup management, access to finance/credit and EU funding, IPR, patent and certification, amongst others.

2022 WEA Digital Innovation Challenge for Women Entrepreneurs, Startups and NGOs

The objective of the Challenge is to build vibrant and inclusive digital innovation ecosystems that empower women entrepreneurs by supporting existing digital solutions developed by women-owned companies or with a minimum of one female founder or by women acting as micro-entrepreneurs or innovative change makers working towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).​

Benefits: Capacity-building training, specialised mentorship scheme, access to a network of change-makers, the possibility to attend the 67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women, in New York.
