AWS Startup Loft Accelerator for Early-stage Startups

The AWS Startup Loft Accelerator is an equity-free program focused on supporting early stage startups in Europe, Middle East and Africa with technology, product development, go-to-market advice and getting you funding ready.

Jasiri Talent Investor Program for East African Entrepreneurs

The Jasiri Talent Investor invests in and focuses on individuals first before companies, teams, or ideas. The program guides selected Jasiri Fellows throughout all stages of venture creation from Ideation to business formalisation.

We are looking for highly driven individuals with a history of achievement and/or entrepreneurial action who aspire to launch a high-growth venture.

Benefits: One-year, fully funded Talent Investor program.

Bank of Industry 2023 Entrepreneurship Programme for Nigerians

The Bank of Industry Entrepreneurship Programme 2023 is seeking to train for-profit entrepreneurs whose businesses are solving problems or transforming society positively. They may include NYSC members, university/polytechnic graduates, prospective BOI customers (minimum qualification: SSCE).

Benefits: Classes on entrepreneurship orientation and business management, certificate from the Lagos Business School.

East Africa Social Business Ecosystem Builders Program

The East Africa Social Business Ecosystem Builders program, initiated by YY Ventures and Yunus Centre, aims to increase the capacity of the existing ecosystem builders in East Africa by giving them access to new knowledge, technical skills and network.

The program will support ten (10) social business support organisations by enrolling them in a two-month-long learning journey. Through this program, two young professionals from each selected organisation (a total of 20 participants) will attend five workshops, design their own social business support programs with our experts’ coaching and guidance, and they can apply for a matching fund of up to EUR 25,000 to implement their program activities.

Benefits: World-class training from a network of experts, up to EUR 25,000 in funding support, access to a global network of social business experts and other regional ecosystem builders.

Ashden Award 2023 for Integrated Energy Africa

The Ashden Award for Integrated Energy Africa is open to energy companies, finance and technology providers, and other businesses creating integrated clean energy solutions in and around the continent’s towns and cities. Their work should bring together multiple energy services to power up transport, homes or enterprises, in harmony with wider national energy systems.

Community involvement is key – the winning solution will be designed and delivered with input from people facing energy poverty, and bring change in areas of greatest need.

Benefits: Prize of £25,000, ongoing development support, all winners join the Ashden network, mainstream and specialist media coverage.

GSMA AgriTech Accelerator 2023

The GSMA AgriTech Accelerator commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), is part of the Fund for the Promotion of Innovation in Agriculture (i4Ag) and being carried out by the GSMA on behalf of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ).

This initiative aims to support and fast-track the growth of innovative, revenue-generating digital agriculture solutions that support the shared vision of improving smallholder farmers’ livelihoods, financial inclusion, and climate resilience.

Benefits: Access to technical assistance tools, farmer feedback surveys, targeted consulting from the GSMA team, user experience and product design/management support, access to GSMA events and insights and capacity building for investor readiness.

FATE Foundation 2023 Business Resilience Programme for African Women Entrepreneurs

FATE Foundation with support from Google.org has launched the Business Resilience Programme (BRP) for Women Entrepreneurs for 2023.

The program will provide beneficiaries with required fundamental financial literacy and business management knowledge; digital literacy skills; growth support (including business registration, network, and community building); and micro-grant financing to underserved female-led businesses in Nigeria.

Benefits: Micro grant financing and free business registration for 200 participants, free access to the Foundation’s business plan developer tool, certificate of completion, opportunity to be featured on FATE Foundation’s or the partners’ social media pages.

2023 SME Growth Lab Africa Digital Accelerator Program for African SMEs

The SME Growth Lab Africa (SGLAfrica) is a Digital Accelerator Program designed to empower business owners with digital skills, knowledge, mentorship and community events with the aim of transforming their businesses and driving economic growth.
