AU-Startups Joins Forces with IATF2023 to Drive a Connected African Startup Ecosystem

AU-Startups, the one-stop gateway for transforming Africa into a startup superpower, is proud to announce its association partnership with IATF2023, the 3rd Intra-Africa Trade Fair. The event, scheduled to take place in Cairo, Egypt from 9-15 November 2023, is set to accelerate Africa’s startup ecosystem and promote increased intra-African trade and investment.

IATF, in collaboration with the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), provides a unique platform for facilitating trade and investment information exchange in support of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA). With AfCFTA commencing trading on 1 January 2021 after entering into force on 30 May 2019, African startups now have unprecedented opportunities to explore business prospects within the continent.

This partnership with IATF reflects AU-Startups’ commitment to empower startups across Africa, providing them with the resources and networks they need to succeed. Through this event, AU-Startups aims to create a vibrant innovation ecosystem that drives economic growth and transforms Africa into a hub of entrepreneurial excellence.

IATF2023 will serve as a dynamic platform, bringing together continental and global players to engage in B2B and B2G exchanges, facilitate trade, investment, and market information sharing, and address crucial issues affecting intra-African trade and investment.

Join AU-Startups and IATF in celebrating African ingenuity and charting a course towards a prosperous future driven by innovation and collaboration.
