African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative Cohort 6

African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative is currently accepting applications for its highly selective capacity building program in leadership and business management. The program is intended for African female entrepreneurs who want to broaden their knowledge, improve their skills, expand their network, and make lifelong connections.AWEC has successfully accelerated hundreds of African female entrepreneurs whose businesses have transformed and grown. They are looking for the next 200 women who are eager to participate in a high-impact applied learning experience.

Benefits: Participation in the 12-month program, access to a senior business mentor, development of financial, marketing, business management, and strategy skills, and access to a diverse network of African women entrepreneurs.

Flourish Africa N1 Billion Grant for Female Entrepreneurs

The Flourish Africa Grant for Female Entrepreneurs is a one-billion-naira fund created to support and promote African female-owned businesses through training, mentoring, and funding over a five-year period. The program aims to empower the entrepreneurial activities of at least 2,500 female business owners through funding and structured training.

A minimum of 500 female entrepreneurs would be trained in business and life skills through the program each year, with the top 100 achievers from the pool eligible for grants of up to 2 million naira each from a 200 million naira annual fund.

Benefits: Winners receive up to N2M in funding, practical skill development, mentoring, business capital, and market access.

BRAVE Women Nigeria Grant for Female Entrepreneurs, Lead Firms and Business Associations

In collaboration with Wema Bank, BRAVE Women Nigeria invites Female Entrepreneurs, Lead Firms, and Business Associations to apply for its grant program.Under this BRAVE project, female entrepreneurs can receive grants ranging from $5000 to $15000, while women associations can receive up to $50,000 (naira equivalent) as a matching grant to finance asset acquisition (for businesses in Lagos and Abuja only)

Benefits: Individual entrepreneurs receive a grant of $5k to $15k, lead firms receive a grant of $40k to $50k, and business associations and cooperatives receive a grant of $5k to $50k.

World Habitat Awards for Innovative Housing Projects

Since 1985, World Habitat has run the World Habitat Awards competition in collaboration with UN-Habitat.The World Habitat Awards honor and recognize innovative, outstanding, and sometimes revolutionary housing ideas, projects, and programs from around the world.

Benefits: Winners will receive a £10,000 prize, follow-up support, opportunity to collaborate with World Habitat, membership in the World Habitat Award Winners Network.
