Yusuf Fahmy is the founder and CEO of Conix, an Egyptian proptech startup that uses AI to generate designs and adaptive materials for real estate developers and architects.
Yusuf is a practicing architect who developed the AI technology that powers Conix and used it for his own work on international projects before deciding to build it into a full-fledged product. He is also the Managing Director of Yusuf Fahmy Architects, a Cairo-based architecture firm specializing in architecture and urban design.
Conix allows users to evaluate the viability of building sites and assess multiple scenarios in minutes, generate design options for a given site, and optimize spaces while minimizing environmental impact.
The startup recently raised $1.3 million in pre-seed funding, which will be used for product development and expansion into Saudi Arabia.
